My Dad was a true gent.
Sadly slipped away to Heaven on Friday 14th November 2008 in his sleep while The Priests were singing Ave Maria on the TV.
May the road rise up to meet you

over a year on and I still find it difficult not seeing you everyday. The only thing that helps is knowing that you are no longer in pain and at peace, with people who were gone before who you loved so dearly.
I can honestly say you were the best father a girl could have wished for and I feel so proud to call you my daddy.
Iggy still remembers you. He recognises your picture and always makes him smile. It hurts to think he will not know you in the way he should, as I know you would have been the best grandad to him, as you were to Dylan.
But I know you are still around watching over us, being the big family man you always were.
